Pacifica Coconut Crushed Pearl Bronzing Body Butter

Summer is almost here, that means beautiful balmy weather and a boost of some much needed Vitamin D. It also means more exposed skin... in shorts, bikinis, and sleeveless tops.
This is my favorite time of year to explore new products for getting gorgeous summer skin. Everything from aftersun moisturizers to tan-enhancing tropical oils, natural sunscreens and nourishing body creams. If it promises a sun-kissed glow and is made with all natural healthy ingredients, I'm on it!

While browsing Pacifica's website, I spotted the new Pacifica Coconut Crushed Pearl Bronzing Body Butter. A moisturizing, tan-enriching, sun-kissed glow of goodness in a bottle... It's also 100% vegan and cruelty-free.
I placed my order and waited for my package to arrive. Pacifica was pretty fast on shipping and a few days later I was at the beach testing it out.
First of all, it smells delicious, like a yummy coconut tanning oil, similar to Pacifica's Indian Coconut Nectar fragrance (my favorite Pacifica fragrance).
Second of all, try not to smear it on the front of your favorite white top, like I did. It washes out but... It's just nice to not wear a smear of brown on your top all day, until you're able to get home and wash it out right?
A little bit of transfer is to be expected though. So rather than an all-over-body moisturizer, this one is best reserved for specific areas that you want to highlight with a sexy bronze goddess glow, like arms and legs. Once it soaks into your skin and dries down, transfer is minimal.

Pacifica's packaging is gorgeous, as always. The colors are warm and bronzey, with a rose gold hue, very attractive. The squeeze bottle tube contains a good amount of product at 5.25 FL OZ, but it's tall and slender shape gives it a more purse/beach bag friendly feel.

Pacifica's Coconut Crushed Pearl Bronzing Body Butter is packed with nourishing tropical phytonutrients and healthy moisturizing ingredients, such as; shea butter, sweet almond oil, coconut oil, vitamin e, argan oil, tamanu oil, passionfruit extract, sea algae extract, goji berry extract, papaya extract, pineapple extract, vitamins and minerals.
The sun-kissed glow comes from the luminescent golden-bronze mica. The mica is finely milled and adds a glistening effect to your skin. You can see the flecks of mica shimmer in the sunlight, but it doesn't look over-the-top glittery. The tan base color of this bronzing body butter comes from iron oxides. These are my two favorite minerals for giving your skin a natural sun-lit glow and enhancing a tan.
Now let's talk about what kind of bronzing you can expect from Pacifica's bronzing body butter. This product gives the skin a very sheer subtle hint of tan color, it's not a sunless tanner and will not change your skin tone from fair maiden to bronze goddess when you apply it. Though I imagine it may be more noticeable on lighter skin tones, it seems to blend right into my medium-tan skin tone. Although the tint is very sheer, it does seem to enhance my tan.

Pacifica's Coconut Crushed Pearl Bronzing Body Butter is formulated without petroleum, parabens, SLS or phthalates. Because we don't want those slathered all over our body and baking into our skin.
The moisture-rich formula absorbs quickly and is non-greasy, leaving your skin smooth and hydrated, which adds to a healthy summer glow.

So how and when would you apply Pacifica's Coconut Crushed Pearl Bronzing Body Butter? Anytime and anywhere you want a sun-kissed goddess glow. A little goes a long way, I'll apply a bit down the fronts on my legs, shoulders and along the outside of my arms. But mostly I bought this for legs.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
I would love to hear if you've tried any products from Pacifica lately. If you know of any natural, cruelty-free, vegan products that you would like me to review... Or that you love and think I should try, let me know. :)
Love you guys!
Love, Christine
