KILLER HEELS
Kotitoimisto sai tilapäisen siirron lähikahvilaan, kun tänään aamulla remppamiehet paukkasivat paikalle ja yllättivät mut tunnin liian ajoissa vielä pyjama päällä ja hampaat pesemättä. Kyllä vaan, meillä tehdään taas remonttia! Tällä kertaa tosin ei omasta aloitteesta, vaan talossa ilmenneiden ilmastointiongelmien takia. Keittiön katto saa kuulemma uuden lookin muutamasta lisäilmastointiluukusta sekä mm. liesituuletin lähtee vaihtoon. No, kulkeepahan sitten ainakin ilma kunnolla!
Breikki sohvan nurkasta läppäri sylissä tosin tekee ihan hyvää, mikäs tässä mansikka-vesimeloni smoothieta maistellessa ja kahvilan ikkunan läpi auringossa tepastelevia ohikulkijoita katsellessa. Kahvilaelämän keskellä tosin vaarallisia tilanteita tulee vastaan vähän liiankin helposti, juuri nyt olen mm. tuijottanut lasin takana lymyilevää caramel cheescake -palasta viimeiset viisi minuuttia vesi kielellä ja samalla mietin mielessäni, että olisikohan vastapäisen kahvilan gluteeniton omenapiirakka sittenkin herkullisempi idis. Vai ehkä molemmat? Synttiriviikollahan tässä kuitenkin jo mennään, että sinänsä..
Hello from a cafeteria nearby my home! I was forced to move my office here for a couple of hours because some renovation guys came in to my apartment to fix some stuff that need to be fixed. They were supposed to come an hour later so I was still sitting in my pyjamas when they doorbell rang. Woops. Anyways, there has been some air conditioning problems in our house so that’s what they’re working on today.
Sometimes I feel like it’s a good thing to change my working spot a bit and not just sit in the corner of the sofa with my laptop on my lap all days long. I mean, sipping a strawberry-watermelon smoothie and looking people going by the cafeteria window in the warming spring sun, not too bad. Although I gotta say that this cafeteria office thing is quite risky business. The last five minutes I’ve been eyeing on this caramel cheescake piece that looks so tempting to me. At the same time I know the cafeteria just accross from the street has the best ever gluten free apple pie which might be even a better idea. Or maybe just indulge myself with them both? It’s the week of my birthday after all..

Tänään tuntuu olevan jotenkin paljon sanottavaa, vaikka oikeastihan mun piti vain tulla näyttämään nämä viime viikolla napatut asukuvat, joissa päällä ehkä lempi asuni sitten vähään aikaan! Kevään uusi lemppariasuste on ehdottomasti Balmuirin harmaansävyinen hattu, jota voin luvata, että tulette näkemään vielä kyllästymiseen asti. Viime syksynä ostamani viitta on myös jälleen palannut kuvioihin, nimittäin viikonloppuna kaivoin vihdoin kaikki kevättakit esiin ja uskaliaasti vein talvitakit kellarin syövereihin ensi talvea odottamaan. Paluuta ei siis enää ole.
I feel like I’m on a chatty mood today and could just continue the writing here. But what I actually ment to do here was to show you this outfit from last week which might be one of my favorite combos for a while! At least that new hat from Balmuir is a definite favorite for this spring season. I have a feeling that I’m gonna be wearing it a lot! I also took out my cape again while I was taking all my winter coats to the cellar last weekend. So the winter is officially over now and the spring is here. Yei!
