get the look: a killer pad in copenhagen.
i fell hard for this classic Scandinavian apartment belonging to designer Hanne Bloch featured on bo bedre. those serge moille lighting fixtures, that covet-worthy white tufted mid-century modern lounger, the eames dining chairs — all of it works perfectly together, and i wondered how one might go about getting the look. a great plush green leather sofa, some beautiful vintage rugs — it’s an eclectic look with a lot of layers, but here are a few ideas i thought might make it all come together. oh, some dark stained hardwood floors wouldn’t hurt, either!
get the living / dining room look: some gorgeous Case Study Arm Shell Dowel chairs from modernica; CB2’s mantis wall sconce is a nice option for lighting; this is one pretty Eames Lounge Chair with Ottoman in White Ash from Yliving; Mongolian Lamb Pillow from west elm is a good match; the Alberta Table Lamp from caravan pacific in ochre is great; you’ll need a large formet b&w print, like this art print of tania mallet from art.com; some pretty colored glass vases, like this Glass Bottle Vase from anthropologie; and a green leather willoughby sofa from anthropologie is a nice option.
and in the bedroom: urban outfitters Wooden Blanket Ladder is perfect; ikea’s fillsta or fado lamps are both good options; love terrain’s ironwood trestle stool; yliving’s Saarinen Medium Womb chair is a nice match; try cultiver’s beautiful bedding – love this isobel throw and BEYAZ SILK VELVET CUSHION from cultiver — both would look so pretty in this mix.
