If I’m honest, I’ve no idea how Fashion Week came around so quickly. Holiday season is like an alternate reality of commercial gluttony, family feuds, and flighty resolve – heaving and immobile with overzealous sale shoppers and acute overconsumption regret.
Then BAM. (And the dirt is gone).
It’s February.
We’re braving the New York City chill, and blearily stumbling all over the city for our first day of presentations, fittings, pre-show meetings, dead phones in tow.
But, of course, tomorrow is a better day. Winter is more bearable when you’re working with a genuinely wonderful team on innovative brands (and shoes… all of the shoes…). #MATCHESxMARGARET was always To Be Continued.
