I think some of you will be happy to know that I got sent some Les Merveilleuses La Duree make up and cosmetic products to review. They are part of their new spring collection and will be launched in HK on the 6th of March. All of the products I will be reviewing in the coming posts will be available for sales then, in SOGO (causeway bay, HK)

What it promises and does : Les Merveilleuse La Duree new make up base is a hydrating make up base with a UV protection that leaves no sticky feeling and delivers long lasting skin care benefits. It will shields the skin with a SPF 50 / PA protection and provide a serum-like sensation. The lightweight texture spreads over the skin with a comfortable feel. It evens out the skin, while silicone gel forms a uniform make up layer, globular silicone powder with a soft-focus effect smooths out pores and helps foundation application.
Full of goodness : Contains ami-phyto emulsion (UV absorber) Water-soluble polymers (envelop hyaluronic acid to keep the make up layers moisturized for hours)

My opinion and extra tips : This base is really good and lives up to the expectation. I have nothing against silicone and I don't try to avoid it, so I had no problem using it. I like to use a pea size for my whole face (a little more than pictured above) and as I apply it, I can feel the gentle glide and my skin feels smoother. Comfortable to wear and non-sticky.
After using it, the foundation was easy to apply, very even and the adherence to the skin was very good. My skin also felt hydrate the whole day :)
