Flamingo Inspired Birthday Party
Flamingos are all the rage. Is it because they’re pink? Tropical? Who knows but we’re officially declaring them the “it bird” of 2015. And while I’m well past my second year of life, it isn’t stopping me from snagging cute details for my very own Flamingle party. Colorful and summery is just the beginning of this shindig designed by Lindsey Rendon and snapped by Amy & Jordan Photography.
When asked, Makena’s mom, Lindsey, described her daughter’s 2nd Birthday this way.
My inspiration for my sweet two year old’s birthday party was something fun, colorful and summery! Because Makena is a summer baby and there isn’t much to do besides a pool party, I wanted something that said “summer!” I actually saw the yard flamingos in a store window for a display and thought they were so cute and classic summer, so that is where I got my inspiration! The “Flamingle was born!”
With incredible paper products dreamed up by Idieh Design, the party started to take a life of its own! I was blown away by the desserts by Ruze Cake House and Carte Blanche’s perfect floral pineapple, all perfectly captured by Amy & Jordan Photography. I just LOVE the way it all came together! It was exactly what I had pictured!
