Creative Customization For Every Room

We are absolutely thrilled to have Maria from Dainty and Decadent here to share her creative ideas for decorating her new living room!

When we first moved into our new home a couple of weeks ago, I vowed to decorate each room slowly so that I didn’t make any impulse purchase just to have a room decorated. Does anyone else do that? I literally am the type of person that needs to have every fork and towel in its place. I knew I wanted the living room to be one of the first rooms I had done since it’s the room people would see the most but I could not for the life of me decide what to do behind the couch, that is until Tiny Prints swooped in! Browsing through the website, I was inspired by the beautiful prints. Suddenly, it hit me how I wanted to decorate the wall behind our sectional. I decided to make two mounted prints using Tiny Print’s incredibly easy to use options. One print is a photo from our wedding and the other is an image I created in Photoshop. See the photos below!

My husband and I have been married for 4 years but, until now, had not had one of our wedding pictures printed out so I knew that was the way to go.

For the second print, in order to make the wall symmetrical, I decided to type out the lyrics to Elvis Presley’s Fools Rush In which is the song I walked down the aisle to. For the lyrics, I just used Photoshop to change the fonts and colors just to make the print more interesting. Using Tiny Prints, I was able to upload my image onto the mounted picture and let me tell you, it is AWESOME! It way exceeded my expectation and is now a great conversation piece.

As for the prints underneath, one is from a local store and the other two are watercolor pictures that I painted.

Overall, I really love the wall and how the prints turned out! I think the quality is phenomenal and they truly bring the wall decor together. What do you think? We’re definitely not done decorating the entire room (hence the bare windows) but I do adore how the wall turned out. I’d love to read or see how you all have incorporated prints into your home decor!
