I've never been a huge fan of the colour blocking trend. For me you colour block pretty much every day. Every outfit is some form of colour blocking, even the most basic and chic combinations, such as black and white are still colour blocking.

Since moving in with The Man my style has changed so dramatically that I recently sold off many pieces from my closet. Letting go of the old me, and buying "new me" pieces.

But in the inbetween of the old and the new, I've been left with very few pieces that I think are not too over the top and are acceptable to wear during the day. I now only like to get super dressed up at night, thats the only time I break out the heels. During the day I like to feel chic, put together, dressed up... but in a dressed down way. If that makes sense.

But I digress..... the other night I was online looking for inspiration to pull together new looks with the limited closet I currently have. I found this fabulous bright red and hot pink combo and I knew exactly the pieces I could use to recreate this great look and I loved how it turned out.
