Flower crown- Jordan de Ruiter Fuzzy pink sweater- Vintage White blouse- Secondhand Denim cutoff shorts- The Revival Outpost Pink thigh high stockings- Ardene
There is nothing I love more than collaborating with independent designers and shops. Recently I had the pleasure of receiving two of the pieces pictured above from two very amazing ladies and their respective stores. Jordan de Ruiter is a designer who makes whimsical, romantic flower crowns (and clothing, of course) right here in Toronto! This piece is from her fall collection. You can check out the crown I am wearing and similar pieces riiight here. She even has an Etsy store with pieces like this, gah! Everything is made in Canada, cruelty-free and eco-friendly.

My denim cutoff shorts are from The Revival Outpost, a clothing boutique based in New Orleans, stocked to the brim with unique, quirky vintage and new pieces. These shorts are reworked vintage Levi's with studs on the left pocket, and happily, the first pair of denim cutoffs I've owned in years. Be sure to keep an eye out on their Facebook page for updates, and for more more amazing shorts like these soon to be added to their web store.

In other news, it is October, month of sweaters, books, hot drinks, colourful autumn leaves, and walks in the woods with a certain loved one, perhaps?
