I’m Terrible at Buying Frames

I have several art prints I’ve bought online and have framed them. But I have exponentially more prints sitting in a stack or carefully tacked to a bulletin board in my kitchen. I just don’t buy frames, and when I pass by them in the store I can’t remember which color or size I need.

So, when I saw that not only does Minted now sell art and home decor, but you can buy the print with a frame already selected, that seemed like the perfect solution!

Frankly, I havent bought many art prints lately since I feel like they’re a frivolous way to spend my money when I’m working toward debt repayment but every so often I can’t resist. There’s a lot to be said about enjoying the comfort of your own home when you’re spending a lot of time there to save money.

You may think that Minted is solely a stationary company so why would you buy art there? But I have to tell you, the prints are GORGEOUS! There are so many that there is bound to be something to fit your fancy. I have a lot of word art in my home so I’m trying to go out of my comfort zone and get a piece that doesn’t have words on it – and clearly I have to buy one with a frame included.

I think the Blush Blossoms piece above and this Kaleidoscope No.1 would both look great in my living room with my girly grey couch I bought in March.

This one I think is NECESSARY for my hallway. My apartment has a small pretend foyer and who wouldn’t want to walk in the door and be greated by this? It makes me lust for adventure!

I know I’ve focused on art here, but Minted still does stationary and I’m sure if the day comes where I walk down the aisle, Minted is where I’ll start the search for wedding invitations.
