As per Vedic tradition morning time is the best time for Yoga to be done. But yoga in the early morning is not possible for many of us because most of us are not early riser or don’t prefer to wake up early.

At the same there are many hidden benefits of doing yoga in the morning. Morning yoga helps you to tone your body, help connect you to peace of nature, and builds freshness and energy with you.

In the initial days it will be difficult for you to get up early in the morning and practice yoga. But if you make an effort to just get up and place yourself on the mats for few days, then you can’t skip a single day without your yoga session.

You will start noticing the benefits, feeling energized, having a positive outlook and so on. When I started Yoga in Rishikesh, it seemed like a retreat and completely reduced my anxiety and stress levels. With time and practice I made sure, doing Yoga early morning was on top of my priority list everyday.

Many of us consume caffeine in order to stay awake. Intake of low to moderate amount of caffeine does not harm your body but if you consume it too much then you can face many health problems.

Insomnia, digestive issues, muscle breakdown, high blood pressure, etc., are the bad effects of too much consumption of caffeine. But by doing morning yoga you may not need caffeine anymore and will also help you to keep your mind active and attentive,
