WWE is all about surprises. We often predict things about WWE, but they often prove us wrong by doing unexpected things. At times, the results of matches are unexpected. They have a tendency to go out of the box and do something unpredictable. So, every time we tune into WWE Network, we expect something extraordinary. Matches apart, there are many segments that involve unique things, at times, in the form of extraordinary weapons. Generally, weapons are not allowed in the matches, but as I mentioned, there is always a surprise with WWE. We have seen unorthodox weapons like nunchucks, kendo stick and many others. This time around, I have come up with three unexpected weapons used in WWE.
Here are my picks:
Brass Knuckles
Brass knuckles or knuckle duster is not used in the recent times, but exploring the history, this weapon was used unexpectedly at occasions. A few wrestlers often made use of this cool weapon. Chris Jericho and William Regal were the two popular superstars who used this weapon at different occasions. We don’t expect such weapons in the ring because they are banned. But, wrestlers, often those who are heels, attempt to ditch the referee by distracting him and using such weapons to their advantage and end up winning the matches.
Brass knuckles have not been used by many wrestlers, but a couple popular ones. However, William Regal was often involved in such moves. It is a punching weapon that is worn around the knuckles. So, wrestlers used to punch their opponents with the knucks and gain an advantage in the match. It is made of metal and can inflict some serious injury. In the modern days, it has been used by the general public for self-defense. But WWE introduced this weapon to the WWE Universe many years ago.
Nunchucks
Nunchucks or nunchaku is a small weapon often seen in the hands of Bruce Lee on the big screen. There are two wooden sticks that are connected using a rope, chord or chain. At times, these sticks are made of steel. The fans of Bruce Lee know what exactly this weapon is. Lee has some superb skills to fight and defend himself with this weapon. These days we see nunchucks being carried by the people as a self-defense weapon against the attackers.
WWE, as of late, surprised the people when they added this weapon in a match called Asylum Match. The match was held between Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho. There were many other weapons available for the wrestlers to use, but the most prominent among them was the nunchaku. Ambrose used it brilliantly to turn the match in his favor. In the end, Ambrose picked up the victory, thanks to this incredible weapon. Jericho, on the other hand suffered a painful defeat at the hands of Ambrose, but he must be hating nunchucks. Anyways, this was something out of nowhere by WWE, introducing nunchucks in a match.

Guitar
Guitar is something you won’t ever perceive as a weapon. But, as WWE keeps on doing unexpected things, we had to enlist it. Like nunchucks, this is another thing that was never supposed to be used by the wrestlers. Have you ever walked with Elias? Yes, I’m talking about the ever-popular superstar Elias who is always keen to use guitar against his opponents. It is not specifically used in a match, but random brawls between the wrestlers always feature the use of such weapons to their advantage. So, these were the three unexpected weapons used in the WWE.
