5 All Natural Body Scrub Recipes

Just like the face, our body needs exfoliation too and for that, you need a good scrub. The market is loaded with body scrubs in different variants but if you're someone who prefers to DIY, then this post is for you.

I'm sharing 5 homemade scrub recipes that you prepare easily. These scrubs don't only work as an exfoliant but also as a body mask that doubles the benefit.

• Tomato Scrub

This scrub is best if you want to remove tan and works effectively with regular use, especially for oily skin.

Cut 4 tomatoes and make a puree. Take a handful of rice and grind it after soaking it for 30 minutes. Now mix both the mixtures and apply it for 20 minutes. Then take a shower.

• Orange and Lemon Scrub

This zesty scrub is again good for tan removal.

Dry lemon and orange peel and make a fine powder. Take 2 tablespoons wheat bran choker), 1/2 teaspoon honey and milk and mix them until it forms a paste. Scrub it on neck, hands, legs and wherever you want.

• Gram flour Scrub

Gram flour reduces prolonged tan and has skin lightening properties. It also mildly exfoliates the skin.

Mix 1 tablespoon besan (gram flour) and 1 tablespoon cornflour. Mix glycerine or any oil (olive, coconut, almond) in it and use it as a scrub. This will not only slough dead skin but also nourishes and adds shine to the skin.

• Oatmeal Scrub

Take 2 tablespoon oatmeal, 4 tablespoon curd, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon olive oil and mix all of them properly. Apply it on the body and gently scrub in circular motions for 3-4 minutes and then wash. This scrub is apt for dry and sensitive skin.

• Hydrating Oil Scrub

Mix 3 vitamin E capsules, 3 vitamins A capsules, 1/2 cup baby oil, 5-7 drops of almond and coconut oil with 1 cup of sugar. Store this mixture in an airtight container and apply and massage it before shower and get super soft baby-like skin.
