WHY DID I PICK THIS ONE?

Emerald Blaze hasn't been on my shelf for long since I got it in November, I believe. I picked it because I am determined to catch up on the three Ilona Andrews' series I follow and I recently wrapped up Sapphire Flames the book before it. I really love the jewel-tone covers on these.
