3 Waves 3 Ways - Hairstyles For Summer
Summer is the perfect time to change up your day-to-day hair routine and experiment with some fun waves! I wanted to help kick start your warm weather inspiration with these three hairstyles that barely take any time at all and which will work well on pretty much any hair length. With a little help from the new TRESemmé PERFECTLY (UN)DONE collection, here is how I achieved these looks:
Beach Waves
Reminiscent of sand and salty water, these beach waves are incredibly easy to pull off. The final result should be carefree, messy, and a little tousled.STEP 1 - Apply TRESemmé Perfectly (Un)Done Waves™ Sea Salt Spray through damp hair. This will give your hair that beachy texture and is an important part of the look!
STEP 2 - Blow dry hair and scrunch as you go. If you want a little more wave, try wrapping your hair around your straightening iron.
STEP 3 - Brush with a wide tooth comb or break apart with your fingers and mist your hair with TRESemmé Perfectly (Un)Done Waves™ Ultra Brushable hairspray. This hairspray isn't stiff and allows your waves to stay in place!
Boho Waves
I regularly create this hairstyle because it's so easy and gives me some much needed volume. I love the textured chunky look!STEP 1 - Work TRESemmé Perfectly (Un)Done Waves™ Sea Foam through damp hair.
STEP 2 - For more volume, flip hair over and dry on high heat. Using a curling iron or wand, wrap the hair around the barrel vertically from root to end, alternating the direction of your curls as you cover your whole head.
STEP 3 - To loosen and separate, run fingers through waves and finish with TRESemmé Perfectly (Un)Done Waves™ Ultra Brushable Hairspray for long-lasting control and hold.
Hollywood Waves
If you have an event to attend, try getting a little fancier with these classic Hollywood style waves, which are much easier to do than they look and take minutes!STEP 1 - Apply TRESemmé Perfectly (Un)Done Waves™ Sea Foam to wet hair from roots to tips. Blow dry with a round brush for volume and lift.
STEP 2 - Create a deep side part. Using a curling iron or wand, curl sections of hair parallel to your part, all over your head. Release and let curls gently fall into your palm. Pin the curls in place with bobby pins.
STEP 3 - Once hair is fully cool, remove pins and gently loosen waves using a wide tooth comb. For touchable control, set with TRESemmé Perfectly (Un)Done Waves™ Ultra Brushable Hairspray.
