Bohemian road trip elopement in Joshua Tree

One of the reasons elopements are so alluring is the fact that it can take place literally anywhere. And spending some quality time exploring a new or favorite place with the one you love is bound to result in an unforgettable experience, only made more magical with an intimate ceremony and exchange of vows in the mix. Alexandria Monette Photography and Candace Jolee Event really zeroed in on the elopement experience with this bohemian road trip concept. And major bonus, it comes complete with some seriously dreamy boho fashion decor inspo, too!

A few notes on the inspiration, from the team: Imagine the perfect road trip in your Volkswagen bus, starting off at the city of lights, continued with a drive through oceanic breezes and views, ending off at the warm desert. We decided Joshua Tree was the perfect elopement destination for a bohemian vibe, private affair for two lovers. The morning began with relaxing in the warm jacuzzi while the fall desert chill seeped through the land. Since elopements are such intimate affairs, we think it’s such a sweet idea for couples to help each other get ready. Nikki’s translucent dress, ruffled heels, and golden accessories were the perfect combination for a desert bride. Jon’s floral tie and burgundy boutonnière was the romantic blend needed for the groom.

These two sure do look stylish in the desert, don’t they?

Rue De Seine‘s gorgeous bohemian gown is at it again.

Oak & Amble was behind this romantic fall desert-inspired bridal bouquet adorned in macrame.

Their boho table lounge area was decorated with taper candles, golden accents, and a wild, mixed bouquet.

After the ceremony, J N indulged in charcuterie, mixed grilled veggies, and a bottle of vino.

Such a sweet set up for staying overnight, too!
