S'more Ice Cream Bombs

Sometimes I just want a treat.

Because I'm so original. I mean, no woman has ever uttered those words before. Just me.

;)

And you know what, sometimes I want that treat to taste like summer. Because it is summer where I live, and it's seriously my favorite season (I'm sorry, autumn! I love you too, I swear!). This "recipe" (guys, it's not a recipe, it's just something I made) was inspired by those three ideas:

1. I want a treat.

2. Summer is all about ice cream.

3. Oh, and s'mores! Summer is totally all about s'mores.

Incidentally this "recipe" has three components as well. It's all about the threes today I guess.

It's a crunchy, graham cracker crust, then a layer of chocolate ice cream topped with toasted marshmallow fluff.

That's it. It's total rocket science.

I used my beloved Zenker Ring Mold
pan along with a little wax paper lining to shape these. That pan was a wedding shower gift that I have used SO many times over the past few years, mostly to bake cheesecakes (like these pumpkin ones, or these lime-y ones). Then I toasted the tops with my kitchen torch. Easy peasy.
