Japanese house: Jun Igarash

Vuelta a Japón y a la pureza de sus diseños, comparto con vosotros una casa ubicada en la isla de Hokkaido, diseñada por el estudio de arquitectura Jun Igarash. Limpieza, minimalismo, claridad, luz natural, madera, el blanco son patrones que se repiten constantemente dentro de la arquitectura japonesa. La vivienda es un cubo simple que engloba una gran riqueza espacial en su interior, gracias a la organización de los distintos espacios entorno a dos núcleos de escalera en espiral, ausencia de compartimentación, espacios abiertos interconectados a diferentes niveles y dobles alturas, recuerda a un patio de juegos infantil.
Back to Japan and the purity of his designs, today I show you a house located on the island of Hokkaido, designed by the architectural firm Igarashi Jun. Cleaning, minimalist lines, natural light, wood and white are constant patterns in Japanese architecture. I love how the design of curve staircases in addiction with the inside windows make perfect atmosphere for everyday activities, the whole space remember me a children playground.

"This house is located on the suburb of the city of Sapporo. The site is a typical suburban subdivision and height difference between the road is large. Footprint is determined by building coverage and wall retreat of the architectural law and the slope of the site approach. I set the long corridor of entrance as a buffer zone (windbreak room) between the large heat load space. Because of the site area is small,to set the buffer space into the inside is difficult. So I spread the thoughts and invent the space of growing plant on Stainless Steel Wire around the house as the new type of buffer zone between outside and inside." Jun Igarashi Architects
