DIY Saturday: Decorative Christmas Stocking Holder

I came across this cute and easy Christmas project and just had to share it! It’s a decorative Christmas stocking holder made from a cedar planter box! This is just for displaying pretty Christmas stockings, not for ones that you are actually going to fill.

This would be so pretty on a mantel, shelf or anything that you decorate like a mantel. I found it on the Home Depot blog.

It has a bit of a rustic/country feel to it. But I think you could glam it up if you added some shiny Christmas balls instead of the pinecones and didn’t sand the box to give a distressed look.
