Hatt et Söner champagne
HATT ET SÖNER CHAMPAGNE. Johan and I are not really wine drinkers, we drink a glas of wine maybe 1-2 times per month if we go out to eat at a restaurant and want a glas of wine to go to our main course. But what we do love is champagne and I champagne that we have been loving the last few years is champagne Hatt et Söner, I love that they focus on producing cuvées with 100% quality, they only use the 1st press of the grapes (The best juice), they only do blanc de blancs (Which is the Chardonnay grape which is the best grape) as well as only doing vintage years (You only have the harvest from 1 year in each bottle, a lot of other champagne houses use the harvest from several different years to blend them, usually to cover up bad quality). As Johan works with champagne I have learnt so much about this industry and beverage the last 3 years which I’m very happy about, I love champagne and I will make sure to keep on learning more about it.
This weekend we opened up a bottle of Hatt et Söner ‘Le Grand-Père’ from 2005, a prestige brut, premier cru and of course only blanc de blancs. Le Grand-Père is their best cuvée and taste wise it’s rich and complex. A champagne connoisseur can’t do anything else than love this champagne!

Jag och Johan är inga större vindrickare, kanske att vi tar ett glas passande vin till maten när vi är ute på restaurang men hemma i lägenheten så dricker vi aldrig vin utan enbart champagne. Jag älskar champagne och Hatt et Söner har blivit min personliga favorit, jag älskar att de jobbar med 100% kvalité i deras cuvéer, enbart 1:a press (Den finaste druvsaften), enbart blanc de blancs (Chardonnay druvan som är den finaste druvan) och de gör enbart vintage champagner (Varje flaska har bara 1 års skörd i sig, inte som många andra champagnehus där de blandar ned flera olika års skördar i en flaska). I och med att Johan jobbar med champagne så har min kunskap inom champagne ökat något otroligt de senaste 3 åren och jag älskar det.
Denna helg så öppnade vi upp en flaska Hatt et Söner ‘Le Grand-Père’ från 2005, en prestige brut, premier cru och givetvis enbart blanc de blancs. Le Grand-Père är deras finaste cuvée och smakmässigt så är den djup och komplex. En champagnekännare kan inte annat än att njuta när man dricker denna! Hur väljer ni att fira in helgen?
