Random Behind the Scenes Photos from the Holidays

From À LA MODEST

Thought I would share some random behind the scenes from my outfit post not too long ago and some other photos from the holidays. I don’t take photos much outside this blog, and I really should! The best moments in life however are the ones not caught on camera. Meet our two white fluffy dogs, Missy and Patty. The playground in the background is not for the dogs. It’s for our nephews and nieces when they come over. We don’t spoil our dogs that much! They love being on the grass and doing what most dogs like to do—eat, walk around, love on you, and poop.

Rob looking annoyed when I took a photo of him while he was taking a break after being on the road for hours on our way back from our trip to Williamsburg. We found a nice hidden railroad right behind a commercial area. It’s just nice to get away and find a nice, quiet place to relax. He’s so cute.

My brother Joseph below is wearing a Walking Through t-shirt that I gave him for Christmas. Walking Through is a Christian graphic t-shirt company that kindly sent me a gift for the holidays. I prefer wearing t-shirts that look like boys’ shirts (high neck), so I couldn’t find anything that I wanted to receive from them. I did find this shirt that my brother is wearing with a cool graphic of the the three magi. It was my favorite graphic from their website.

We didn’t plan what we were wearing that day, and somehow we coordinated with our greys and blacks! I am wearing a Nanette Lepore furry crop shrug I got myself this Christmas and absolutely love.

It’s a treat to get to spend time with my side of the family, especially when we’re using up points from my parents’ time share! Not that I care about being in a time share, but I do love the idea of being in one place where there are enough rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens for everyone! Williamsburg was beautiful and somewhat warm the week before Christmas while we were there. We had a blast! We’re going to be celebrating Christmas with Rob’s side of the family tomorrow. I know, it’s late… I don’t want the holidays to end.

Below is my mom and my dad on the far left. I’ve always looked like my dad growing up, but a lot of people are saying how I look like my mom now. Rob REALLY likes his blue hoodie, can’t you tell? He wore it in all of these photos.
