I adore Whistler. Whistler is one of my favorite places to escape to. Tor first took me to Whistler less than a year into our relationship. I had been living in southern California and missed snow, so he took me to a snow-covered Whistler for Valentine’s Day. Since then, I’ve been in love with Whistler.

Tor and I drove up to Whistler in his father’s convertible with the top down. It was the perfect day for it. I donned one of my favorite patterned dresses for summer and topped it with a denim jacket as we journeyed the two hours north on the Sea to Sky Highway. Despite my many trips to Whistler in winter, this was my first trip to Whistler in summer. It was breathtakingly beautiful. The first thing we did was go walking through the nature trails and we came across a raging creek. I dared myself to put my toes in the water, and yes it was freezing cold (the creek feeds off a glacier) but so refreshing!
