Jewel Tones

Today the wonderful Maya of Charmingly Styled is here to share some jewel tone inspiration, one of my favorite trends this fall! I first met Maya a few years ago in Madison, and she is just as sweet in person as she is on her blog!
I'm so excited to be taking a break from Charmingly Styled to guest post for A Simple Affair today! I've been following Carly's blog since she started last year, and she was a huge inspiration {and help!} for creating my own blog a few months ago.
Today, I wanted to share my recent obsession for jewel tones this fall. Although I love them all year round, fall is the time I really give these pieces a workout. One of my most beloved pieces is my comfy emerald blouse from J.Crew that I nabbed last year on sale {try this new top from J.Crew for a similar look}, paired with my trusty Target garnet loafers. I also love wearing this top at work under my favorite blazer to add some color to my usual work routine because color is always a good thing!
