Review: Five Four Club it’s like a Stitch Fix for men

So I started getting Stitch Fix as a way to try out some new clothes and really have loved it so far. My husband wanted to see if there was anything like it out there for men. Neither of us are really fashionable so having someone else pick out clothes for us is really helpful. After doing some research he found this company called Five Four Club. Where you pay them $60 a month and they send you a couple of pieces of clothing. Unlike Stitch Fix you pay the sixty upfront and keep what they send you. If you don’t know with Stitch fix you pat a $20 styling fee upfront they send you five items and a price list. You keep the ones you like and send back what you don’t want to keep, Then pay for what you keep.

Here is a little video describing Five Four Club and then I will show you what he’s received so far and what we liked and didn’t like. We received no compensation for this review I am just aware of how many of you enjoy Stitch Fix so I wanted to make yo aware of an alternative for men. So if you have a man in your life like I do that doesn’t like shopping for clothes and you never know what to get him this is a great alternative to having to go out clothes shopping. Blake doesn’t mind shopping for other things but he is not a big fan of going shopping for clothing for him or me. Clothes shopping is boring to him.

So he’s been getting these boxes for three months now and he really has liked everything that they’ve sent. They break down how much the pieces cost ant it totals over $120 and you pay $60. Now I’m no expert in clothing so I can’t say for sure if each package really is worth $120 but all the clothing so far have been good quality and in great condition and fit really nice so I’m taking it on faith that they are worth that much and they are at least worth the $60 we paid for each box.

Box #1: This sweater which is blue and white stripes. He also got a long sleeve button down shirt in blue that can be worn under the sweater or on it’s own. I’m not sure how I didn’t get a photo of him wearing it but I didn’t. Blake got this box first in February and has worn the sweater numerous times so it is a good piece that he really likes and feels comfortable in.

Box 2: In box two he got a pair of jeans and this long sleeved shirt which is a little thicker. Blake was really excited to get a nice pair of jeans. He wears Black dickies for work and will occasionally pick up a pair levi’s but nice jeans aren’t something he normally buys himself. So this was a great item in the box that he will get a lot of wear out of. The shirt was also just a really nice neutral shirt that can be worn anywhere and go with a lot of things.

Box 3: Although he had liked all the clothes from the previous two boxes this last box has been Blake’s favorite. In it he got a short sleeved grey t-shirt that is really soft. It is a great shirt and Blake says it’s really comfortable to wear. The other item in the box was this really great black jacket. The jacket is a great jacket with a pattern in the inside. It’s not too heavy which is nice since it doesn’t get real cold where we live. It’s the perfect jacket for him to wear to work since it’s chilly when he gets off.

Here is a look at the inside lining of the jacket.

Overall the two of us have been really pleased with Five Four club both with the style of clothes that they have sent. All of the pieces have been items Blake has liked and with the quality of the clothes themselves. Everything has been comfortable and fit really well.

I recently got my latest Stitch Fix box so I eill be reviewing that soon I just wanted to get this post up and done since he has gotten three boxes already.
