Women to be Watching on Wednesday #4

Welcome to another week of my Women to Watch series. I love getting to know these other amazing bloggers and getting to share them with all of you. This week we are getting to know the lovely blogger over at Life Breath Present .

1. A few sentences about me.

We live somewhere in the Southeast of the United States. We aren’t too far from some family and further from others. Baby Boy is our first little addition to the family and we’re hoping to add more soon. I somehow last year got an inkling that maybe our family might not be complete with less than 4 children. I’m still somewhat pondering this one myself. Hun and I are Heart Married and have been for 3 years now. I no longer work outside of the home and my new career is that of being a mother. I do have other ideas for ventures (other than blogging) that I want to get started and plan for that to be this year!

Years ago this was me – single, confident, and living life with joy!

2. What is one of the last things that made you smile?

I’d have to say when Baby Boy (once again) suddenly started playing peek-a-boo and ran out of the office to peer around the door and corner with his bright smile. Having friends over to share our new space with and seeing the love and pride in their eyes!

3. Who is you biggest inspiration?

I think between Hun and Baby Boy, there’s a close tie. They both inspire me to be and do more, but only in a loving, kind, and supportive way.

I miss those wild curls…

Outside of them, I’d have to say my Heart Mom. She inspires me to be a great woman, person, and wife while also remaining authentic, loving, and accepting of others.

My second mom and I. She came to visit after I’d moved out of state, alone, to pursue my goals!

4. If you could relive one moment in your life what would it be and why?

This is a tough one. Typically I don’t fret over things in the past. One part of me wishes I’d acted a little differently with a certain ex, but I’m not sure I’d be happy.

The moment that Baby Boy was actually born I’d like to re-live. I’d like to feel more than just exhausted in that moment.

5. What is your favorite book?

I don’t think I have a really favorite book. I’ve read different books on different topics. Some have stuck with me, though the names of the books I don’t recall. However, one book that really started to change my life still sits on my desk. (Due to the nature/origin of the book, it’ll remain unnamed.)

6. What moment in your life has had the greatest impact?

A big part of me wishes I was more confident back in the day, but then again, I mayn’t be where I am today. My life would have taken a different path entirely.

Most recently, I’d have to say Hun and I meeting. We loved each other before we actually met, since we’d learned so much about one another in our conversations. And I also became a stay-at-home mother after Baby Boy’s birth. That was a pivotal time indeed!

Another very pivotal moment for me started after a car accident in 2007. A series of events led me on the path to really becoming who I am today, being confident in myself, loving myself, accepting struggle and pain, and providing an avenue through which I could grow in other relationships too, especially those with family.

My sisters and I with our (living) children!

You can keep up with her on her Pinterest, Google , Facebook and of course on her blog. Wherever you decide to visit with her, I am sure you will enjoy getting to know her.
