Before Valentine’s Day a man named Brian came into the store and knew exactly what he wanted to purchase! He asked our bartender Lauren to pull out the silver initials M, Y, A, and S. As she took him on a tour of the store he then asked if we sold a Sunflower bangle. Lauren directed him over to our CHARITY BY DESIGN® case and pointed out the mosaic sunflower charm that benefits the Alzheimer’s Association. He loved it!

As she was boxing up the items he selected, Brian requested that she box them together in the following order Y, A, M, S, and then the Sunflower bangle. He wanted to make sure they were stacked from top to bottom in the bag.”This is the most important part!” Brian said. He then explained to Lauren the significance of the order. The acronym stood for “You Are My Sunshine” and her favorite flower. Brian stated that that had been their wedding song and the expression of love and warmth to his beautiful wife throughout their 30 years of marriage.
