Alex is a plus size model, blogger, and self love advocate based in New York city! This Cali native is ready to share her message of self acceptance and personal growth; and look cute doing it! She has two major goals: to help other women become the most powerful version of themselves and to see these women represented in fashion. The launch of Visibly Plus Size is a result of Alex's unwavering belief that all different types of women (no matter their size, age, or the color of their skin) benefit from seeing images that represent them in the media. With seven years experience as a plus size model, Alex has an arsenal of modeling tips and tricks to share that include everything thing from how to pose to how to overcome fearful thinking while on set. Her personal story and self care practices have been featured on multiple online platforms, including Huffington Post, Yahoo Style, Cosmopolitan Magazine, and Plus Model Magazine. Alex hosts monthly yoga classes and travels to speak to young woman about her modeling career and her journey in self love.
