Roots on the Roof

Before the snow came down last week, Justine, our friend Sasha (sosasha.com) and I were looking for cool places to shoot, when we found this cool rooftop spot. It’s actually the top level of a parking lot, which just proves you can really turn the most unexpected of places into something chic! Right?

For the longest time, I’ve wanted a Roots hoodie and for some reason I just never went and got one. However, this classic salt and pepper hoodie found me and I have been wearing it everywhere! I have to say, it’s even cozier than I had expected. Paired under a parka and I’m toasty warm outside.

Also new into regular rotation are these leather Palladium boots. They’re perfect for the cold weather, with their serious tread and rubber “toe bumper”.
