Weekend Top 5: Lipsticks

I know I said I was going to do my 'Top 5's on a Saturday but the weather has just been so miserable this weekend in the UK that I literally had no natural light to take photographs with. So, I have ordered two massive photography lights that should be arriving on Tuesday so that I never have to face this problem again. Yay. My 'Top 5' lipsticks. This wasn't as hard for me as my nail polish Top 5. Again, each from a different brand and again, not intentional. So here we go.

5. 'Kiss Me Coral' Creme by Revlon
I literally only purchased this at the beginning of the month but have fallen in love with this colour straight away. This is my first Coral colour as usually I am not a fan of orange toned reds but this one for some reason caught my eye. For me, it's a much more toned down Coral compared to some of the slightly more orange based ones. Plus, this was on offer, instead of being £7.49 it was reduced to £5.00. Little bargain which you can find over at Boots.

4. Rimmel's 'Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick in 008'
I reviewed this lipstick along with the other two Kate lipsticks that I own in this post.. The main thing I like about this particular colour is that it is subtle enough for me to wear to work but not so subtle that it looks like I am not even wearing lipstick. Which is why this is in my Top 5 and why I wear it so much. I think the Kate lipsticks are great value for money and I hope they release some more soon.

3. YSL's Rouge Pur Couture in 45
I got this lipstick for Christmas so I haven't had it long at all but I lusted after this for so long that when I got it I knew it would instantly be in my favourites. Because I spend most of my time at work, I like lipsticks that I can wear to work and not feel like I am being over the top. This particular lipstick is a pale pink shimmer that gives my lips a shine that makes them look healthy and gives them a gorgeous shine. Not a massive fan of YSL's lipstick packaging on these ones as they pick up fingerprints really badly.

2. Maybelline's 'Pink Punch' (175)
This is probably one of the first 'bright' lipsticks that I bought a few years back and have since repurchased. It is only in the last 2 years that I have had the confidence to wear brighter colours and been able to steer myself away from the pale pink colours. From the name down to the way it smells, I love everything about the lipstick and hope they never discontinue it.

1. Mac's 'Please Me'
Here we go, my number one and it's a pale pink. What a surprise! But honestly, I love this lipstick so so much. It is my perfect 'cool pink' that I feel I could wear every single day with anything and never get bored of it. It's not in your face but that's why I love it. It's almost my lips, but better. It gives my lips a great creamy feeling and lasts ages, even after me having a few drinks and having eaten. Love it.

Do you own any of these lipsticks? I'd love to see your Top 5 lipsticks posts.
