BEAUTY TIPS: HOW TO FIGHT AND CAMOUFLAGE ACNE?

Do you experience acne problems? Do you struggle to camouflage it? If yes, click read more button This post is addressed to you. I am struggling with acne since I was nine. Unfortunately during this time I did not discover any magical formula that makes it disappear. To live with it, I have implemented a routine that both prevents it and camouflage it.

Here are steps I follow:

1. CLEAN
To clean face I use baby soap (THIS ONE) and/or baby wipes (THIS ONE). I like it because: A. it do not dry the skin, B. it is kind for sensitive skin around eyes, C. most of it do not contain sodium lauryl sulfate.

IMPORTANT! I treat my skin with other cosmetics like peelings but not on the daily basis.

2. PREVENT
Some of you may not agree, but as I see it, the best acne treatment is a toothpaste (the one I use at the moment). I apply a small amount of it at the top of the spot. If I do it in the evening, the next day the spot is gone.

IMPORTANT! Do not 'overdose' a toothpaste. This is not a cream, you can not cover your face with it. It has very strong effect, so use it wisely.

3. MOISTURE
Moisture the skin before applying foundation. I use E45 cream (THIS ONE). It does not contain oils or fragrance and makes my skin look fresh and firm.

IMPORTANT! Don't use creams that dry the skin. When you dry the skin, more sebum is produced and more acne may appear.

4. CONCEAL
After moisture and foundation, I apply conceal. This is when the fun starts. I use three different kinds of concealers- liquid for skin around eyes and 2 shades of 'stick' for imperfections. Colors I use are beige (a bit brighter than foundation color) and half- beige and half- green one (green helps to cover red). Beige one should be a tone brighter than foundation. I am faithful to THIS ONE for couple of years already and I find it the best. It covers well, last for the whole day and is very efficient. I did not find favourite green/beige concealer. Each time I buy a different one, hoping to eventually find 'the one'..I gently pat concealer into the skin. You can use a brush, sponge or your fingers, I use fingers. If you use any tools, remember to clean regularly.

IMPORTANT! Apply 'JUST ENOUGH' of it. Too much can cause 'mask effect' and too little won't cover the color.

5. MAT
When color is even, I apply transparent powder. It helps to keep the 'fresh effect' longer and prevents a sebum to secrete (I always used THIS ONE, but recently I start to use THIS ONE and I am very happy with it!). Lately, I have started to spray my face with water (THIS ONE)at the end. It makes the effect last longer.

Additionally I follow this routine to brighten acne scars:

IMPORTANT! This tips are working for me. I have oily skin. Please be careful when following this tips. Observe your skin and do what is the best for you. I hope this will help you ;)
