The iconic Home button is going away in ’17

Apple seems set to eliminate the Home button on next year’s iPhone, according to a new report from Bloomberg. In June, The Wall Street Journal made a similar claim.

Unlike previous iPhone models (including the one set to launch next month), Apple’s 2017 handset is expected to include an OLED display. This would allow the screen to appear as one sheet of glass.

Cramer: Apple should buy Sirius XM

CNBC’s Jim Cramer thinks that Apple should purchase Sirius XM. The move, according to the “Mad Money” host, would help Apple better promote CarPlay. (Via Patently Apple)

“Anything that puts Apple on the path toward owning the automobile would really brighten the company’s long-term outlook,” Cramer said.
