Pipe Cleaner Dolls
I made these dolls with some young girls awhile back as a special birthday party project. The pipe cleaner bodies were wrapped with embroidery thread, and the clothes cut from felt. The doll hair, which you can actually buy online, is a lot of fun to play with, but yarn would look good too. My goal was to show the girls some very basics about clothing design. Namely that you can do more than just wrap and tie, you can cut head and arm holes, just for starters.
