Planning an Art Camp, Day 2

Today I focused on making a flyer for my art camp, which meant choosing projects and assigning them to certain days. I know that if I open camp up to single day enrollments, parents and children are going to want to know what to expect.

I’ve started by choosing one 2D and one 3D project for each day, which I will advertise, but will have another small project on hand to fill in extra time. I’ve tried to make sure that each project is manageable for a kinder, but also flexible for older students to elaborate on. I’ve never split up any of my after school classes to age groups as I often find kinders that have the focus and ability of 4th graders, and well, visa versa as you may have experienced too.

P.S. I also decided that my first Van Goghish logo was a little too grown up looking. I went with a popsicle look instead. For now.
