School Paper Self Portrait

Here’s a fun way to add a little writing to a self-portrait project. Students that are just learning to write can draw themselves and then label things of note. I like how the paper has a built in spot for names, and that the blue lines can act as drawing guides as well.

1. Print template on 8.5″ x 11″ drawing paper for each student.

2. Students draw body, starting with a head that is at least 6 lines tall.

3. The drawing is traced with a black marker and colored with crayons.

4. Students label at least 3 things about themselves with a marker.
