Answered Prayer

Sometimes the answer to my prayers comes so slowly that I begin to doubt. I fret and wonder ….
Is God not listening to me? Have I lost my connection? Is my problem to great or too small (fill in the blanks) for consideration?

Then one day, when least expected, the answer arrives. And I stop, and I listen. And I marvel at the response.

The prayer is not answered in quite the way I had hoped ….
But in a much better way!
And I bow to His wisdom and I give thanks.
Never give up on prayer ~ it is always answered.
