Jeff Koons

A couple of weekends ago, it was the final days the Jeff Koons exhibit would be on display at the Whitney Museum. In honor of that, the museum opened for 36 hours straight. Since I had to work on that Sunday, Andres & I, went in early around 6:30AM to view it. It was definitely worth it!

A free audio tour came with the ticket, so it was amazing to learn more about it as we walked through the floors. The art is just incredible - especially the more well-known "balloon" and "play-doh" pieces, which are really made out of metal components. It's astounding how lifelike they look, with such attention to detail.
