Merry Christmas’ 14

Christmas was spent with my dear university mates once again and this time, my family joined in the fun!

It's always a joy to see how close-knit my parents and these dear friends are and how happy my parents are with the company of them. It all started when the 8 of us (four couples) were supposed to go Batam last year for a weekend trip but I'd something on that particular weekend and instead of forfeiting the tickets, my parents went on my behalf together with 6 of my friends. That was pretty much a first and a surprise for us all. My friends, parents kinda bonded over that trip and ever since, my parents have always been asking about them. I seldom see that big fat grin on my dad's face but with them around, it's very heartwarming to see it appearing all the time. Could see that my family really enjoys spending time with them all and it seems to me that we will be making it a point to spend these occasions together going forward and I couldn't be more glad. Thankful for these friends who adore my parents just the same and I know my parents care for them like their very own children too <3

Things have certainly changed and Christmas this year was pretty amazing actually. It was a good one gathering with different group of friends and really happy that a bunch of us came back together after so long.. it felt as though we were back to the schooling days and it definitely brought back so many memories.

Feeling a little nostalgic tonight..
