I have been completely obsessed with this product for months now, as I was able to receive a jar during a Fall media preview back in the Spring. I wasn’t particularly a fan of the original Crème Ancienne, but this new soft cream has been formulated to deliver the same luxurious nourishment with a soft, whipped texture instead. This cream is absolute heaven, and before you scoff at the price tag, know that this beauty editor (who has an entire shelf of luxurious, designer face creams) has already purchased her second jar- it’s that good. Also, when you learn about how the product is hand-blended by a monk in a monastery to preserve the natural ingredients and historical tradition, it makes a little more sense. It feels so hydrating and my skin has the most incredible glow when I wake up in the morning. It’s a new must-have of mine, and I am so happy it’s finally here. Available now online at Sephora.
Cover FX Calming Primer, $46
Known for their superior line of skin-loving primers, Cover FX has recently introduced a new formula targeted for those with sensitive, reactive skin. This calming primer reduces redness and soothes irritated, inflamed skin, whether it’s from rosacea, acne or even damaged skin. Endothelyol reduces redness and inflammation immediately while St. John’s Wort soothes angry skin. It also contains ingredients to help repair and improve skin tone & clarity over time as well, so you’re left with a healthy, happy complexion. bareMinerals MINERALIXIRS Eye Nourishing Oil Balm, $46
Although they are best known for their award-winning mineral makeup, bareMinerals isn’t a stranger to the world of skincare. They have recently launched a new oil-based skincare collection called Mineralixirs. The collection includes a 5-oil blend for replenishing skin, a facial cleansing oil and this- a nourishing eye oil balm. Each product contains a blend of botanical oils and minerals, including the star ingredient— rosehip seed oil— which is rich in Omega 3 and 6 and known to soothe skin, target signs of aging and replenish the skin’s natural moisture barrier.
