Hey there.

Thanks so much for the sweet comments in my last post.

I really appreciate it and I hope you all had an amazing weekend.

Today I wanted to share with you some of the items I’ve been loving during the last month and I hope you enjoy!

First is the music I’ve been loving and this month it’s The 50 Shades of Grey Soundtrack.

I am not even going to get into the movie and if you love it/hate it/haven’t seen it/could care less about it, but regardless the music from it is amazing!

Like seriously!

My fave song from it is probably Earned it by The Weekend which starts at 5:20 just an fyi.

Next thing that I’ve been loving this month are my white converse.

They are such a Spring/Summer staple for me.

So easy to just throw on and they go with everything!

A gadget that I’ve been loving this month is called HeartMath Inner Balance-Lightning Sensor for Iphone.

I first heard about it from a friend.

Her Holistic Doctor recommends it for stress and anxiety and she said she loved it so I rushed over to amazon and picked it up for myself.

We all know meditation is great for our mental health, but you never know if you’re doing it right.

Well that’s where the The Inner Balance Sensor for iOS comes in.

It’s an innovative approach to improving wellness through training, education and self-monitoring.

With Inner Balance you plug the device into your phone, enter how you are feeling in the moment, clip on the earpiece and then run a session focusing on a positive moment and you will see the benefits right there in front of you.

Research has shown that focusing on positive emotions like appreciation can greatly reduce the effects of stress and deliver you to a more calm peaceful state.

I do about 2 or 3 5 minute sessions a day and I really do feel like it helps put me in a more peaceful state of mind.

A book I’m obsessed with this month is What To Do When It’s Your Turn (and it’s always your turn) by Seth Godin.

It’s a book that feels more like a high-end magazine and one that even people who don’t like to read books will love.

It’s an urgent call to do the work we’re hiding from, a manifesto about living with things that might not work and embracing tension when doing your “art”.

It’s the motivational kick in the pants we all need to go out there and take our turn.

Amazing I highly recommend it!

Another gadget I’m loving this month is the 7 year pen by SeltzerGoods.com.

Worldwide, 100 million pens are discarded every day.

Yikes!

To change that Seltzer Goods took their turn (see what I did there ha!) and created a pen that has enough ink in it to write 1.7 meters a day for 7 years!

It’s made well, writes well and a portion of the proceeds are donated to environmental charities.

I picked mine up at Books a Million, but you can also find them online.

Okay now onto beauty!

The beauty products I’m currently loving are….

1. Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan Mousse Self Tanner by Marissa Carter.

This stuff is amazing!

I’m naturally pretty fair skinned, but I can apply this and about an hour later I’m transformed into a bronzed goddess.

Well maybe not, but I do have a gorgeous tan haha.

Not orange or streaky at all.

Just a gorgeous natural looking tan.

Love it!

2. Pacifica Coco Pure Makeup Removing Wipes with coconut water.

These wipes are amazing.

They’re gentle and highly effective.

Two thumbs way up!

3. 100% Pure Cocoa Pigmented Bronzer in Cocoa Glow.

This 100% Natural bronzer will give you a warm, beautiful, sun kissed glow instantly from pigments of cocoa, coffee, tomato and berries.

4. Hourglass Radiant Magenta.

An oldie, but a goodie.

I’ve had this for a while, but I recently just rediscovered it and I’m so glad I did.

Such a gorgeous golden fuchsia blush and perfect for Summer.

5. Bite Beauty Butter Cream Lipstick in Caramel.

You may remember my review on these lipsticks earlier this month and well I’m still obsessed.

My current fave shade is Caramel it’s a gorgeous fleshy nude.

6. Pacifica Power of Love Eye Shadow Palette.

These rich, lasting, creaseless eye shadows are infused with coconut water for a velvety, cream-like finish.

7. It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Illumination Full Coverage Cream.

If you love a full coverage product that feels more like a CC cream then this is your product.

Highly recommend!

8. Acure Brightening Facial Scrub.

This is my second tube of this product and I love it.

It’s a gentle scrub that provides a nice, deep clean.

9. Earth Paste Toothpaste.

This toothpaste contains no glycerin, no fluoride, no foaming agents, no artificial coloring and it’s from the earth.

It works well for my sensitive teeth (better than sensodyne) and it also naturally whitens them (because of the clay?).

All in all a great natural toothpaste.

So that’s it.

I hope you enjoyed this post.

Be sure to comment and let me know what you thought of the post and also what you’re loving this month.

Best,

Leigh
