Tom Ford 2016 Soleil Collection...A Pictorial
Happy Friday, lovelies! Today's provides an image-heavy encounter with the Tom Ford 2016 Soleil Collection, which, incidentally, is pure bliss. From the white lacquered packaging to the lush hues housed within, the products (currently available at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks and Sephora) are effortlessly wearable and endlessly beautiful.
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the products in action as well as the Bottom Line...
From lip color and eyeshadow to fragrance and bronzer, I have had a ball integrating the spring and summer Tom Ford releases into my regular routine...the saturated colors have invited me to stray from my comfort zone while still feeling suitable for everyday wear.
Up first is the *Tom Ford Ultra-Rich Lip Color (available at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks and Sephora). I had the chance to try three of the six shades (I also swatched the Sheer Lipstick in Sweet Spot for color comparison):
- Sweet Spot is a peachy coral
- Le Mepris (also reviewed HERE) is a super-flattering coral-meets-red...this will be my summer shade.
- Aphrodite is a lovely, cool-toned fuchsia pink
- Temptation Waits is a rich russet brown that looks almost like a deep berry plum on the lips...so unique.
Tom Ford Bronzing Powder.
Next is the gloriously natural-looking *Tom Ford Bronzing Powder (available at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks and Sephora). The recent release of the deeper Bronze Age brings the shade offerings up to three:
- Terra is a muted light tan with no perceptible shimmer.
- Gold Dust is a luminous tan (slightly warmer than Terra) with gorgeous, finely-milled gold flecks.
- Bronze Age is rich, warm medium bronze with a soft, satin matte finish.
Perennial favorites.
Additionally, I had to include the Tom Ford Illuminating Powder Duo in Moodlight (reviewed HERE), which I love to sweep over bronzer for a gossamer veil of illumination and the Eye Color Quad in Disco Dust (reviewed HERE) for a glistening apricot eye. I reach for both of these versatile gems multiple times a week!
Golden Peach and Naked Bronze...get them whilst you can!
I am thrilled to discover that the Cream and Powder Eye Shadow in Golden Peach and Naked Bronze (available at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Sephora) have made a reappearance this season!
Both shades are stunning neutrals that I have relished using for the past year (Golden Peach review HERE and Naked Bronze review HERE). The cream formula has insanely good color-payoff and doesn't crease or migrate over the course of wear. The shimmering powder shadow sets the cream and adds an additional lustre that masterfully stays in place (no fallout!) for incandescent eyes that seamlessly translate from day to night.
The Tom Ford High-Definition Eyeliners.
Part of the Spring 2016 release, the *Tom Ford High-Definition Eyeliners (available at Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom) are exceptional!
Retractable (no need for a sharpener!) and intensely opaque, they nimbly glide onto even the most sensitive areas of the orbital zone (like the waterline) and are completely indelible once they set. I wear the obsidian Black shade on my lower waterline almost daily and marvel at how kind the formula is to my sensitive, contact lens-wearing eyes. In the images at the end of the post, I experimented with the sky blue Azure shade (once again, along the lower waterline) and love how it provides a pop of color that still works well with neutral eye shadow selections.
Truly, this is one of the best eyeliner formulas on the market!
Sun-drenched.
Finally, the Soleil Blanc Eau de Parfum (initially reviewed HERE) and Soleil Blanc Shimmering Body Oil (perfect to add moisture and glow to one's limbs and decollete) expertly capture the essence of summer.
With notes of amber and coconut that instantly call to mind a sunbaked paradise, both elixirs artfully capture the luxurious leisure of summer; clean, comely and captivating, they are utterly beguiling.
Summertime in glass bottles.
In the images that follow, I am wearing:

- Tom Ford Skin Illuminating Powder Duo in Moodlight (reviewed HERE)
- *Tom Ford Bronzing Powder in Bronze Age (reviewed HERE)
- Tom Ford Eye Color Quad in Disco Dust (reviewed HERE)...so glad this is still readily available at Neiman Marcus as it is back ordered at most other retailers!
- *Tom Ford High Definition Eyeliner in Azure along my lower waterline
- Tom Ford Extreme Mascara (reviewed HERE)
- *Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Shimmering Body Oil (on my decollete and limbs)
- *Tom Ford Sheer Lip Color in Sweet Spot and *Ultra-Rich Lip Color in Le Mepris (reviewed HERE), Aphrodite and Temptation Waits
