Sephora Contour Eye Pencil 12hr Wear Waterproof: Cappuccino
This Sephora eye pencil is another item I stocked up on before I left the US. I first bought it because I was looking for an everyday eyeliner that wasn’t as harsh as black, but wouldn’t be as boring as a flat brown. This Sephora eye pencil in “Cappuccino” seemed to fit the bill and I’ve literally worn it every day since.
Cappuccino is described as “brown glitter”. The glitter is not at all chunky or gritty, and is a pretty mixture of different coloured flecks. The brown is… very brown. Not red brown, taupe brown or black brown… it’s a rich, chocolatey brown.
The formula is silky and glides on without any tugging. You only need one swipe to get a nice opaque line, but to get a bolder, more shimmery effect, you can wait till the first layer is dry and go over it again. Below is a swatch of it with just one layer.
The liner takes a few seconds to set, which means you have time to tidy up wayward flicks with a cotton bud. The glitter is very forgiving and detracts from any slightly uneven lines.

Once set, the liner and glitter stays put all day. It literally does not budge until I remove it with micellar water. No amount of rubbing or water alone shifts it.
As the pencil is so soft and glide-y, it needs sharpening regularly if you want a finer point. But I’ve still found one pencil to last a long time. And at only $10, replacements are cheap.
