Health Tip: Sunflower Sprouts

Sprouts!
We LOVE sprouts! My favorite are Sunflower Sprouts.

Sunflower Sprouts have a dense texture – kind of like fresh spinach. They are slightly nutty in flavor and so green and crunchy. Addictive flavor!

Not only are they delicious, but Sunflower sprouts are rich in Vitamins A, B, C and E, Calcium, Chlorophyll, Iron, Magnesium, Niacin, Phosphorus, Potassium, Amino Acids, and Protein! Which means they are REALLY nutritious for our bodies!

Sunflower Sprouts can be grown at home too. Here’s an online instructional: How to Grow Sunflower Sprouts from Whole Sunflower Seeds

Try other spouts too! Like clover and alfalfa. Sprouts are great in salads and smoothies, on sandwiches and wraps.
