Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Collection

How much do you follow hair trends? Non-traditional color seems to be very on trend now, but with my career I have to keep things pretty traditional. I mostly wear my hair straightened and occasionally I will add some big voluminous curls. No matter how I wear my hair I want it to look healthy and have movement. With the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil collection I got both of those and more.

When I first received these products I was intrigued yet hesitant, the thought of dry oil in a shampoo and conditioner was different to me and I wasn't sure how well they would work. Ladies let me tell you this Dry Oil hair care from Dove is AMAZING. I will admit the shampoo felt a little strange to me the first time I used it. The consistency and texture does mimic that of a dry oil but it rinsed out easily and left no oily residue. The conditioner had a creamy texture though, more what we expect from typical conditioners. When I came out of the shower I was expecting my hair to feel weird, but it didn't it was soft and didn't need any de-tangling.
I sectioned my hair off into four sections and applied 4-5 drops of the oil into my palms and worked through my hair. I blow-dried each section and then flat ironed. When I was finished I could not believe how soft and moisturized my hair felt. I honestly cannot remember a time my hair felt this soft. I usually pull my hair up into a very high ponytail to sleep and I applied just a tiny bit of oil each night to my hair before brushing it up.
The scent of this line is wonderful; it has a natural woodsy vibe to it that lingered in my hair even into the next day. To say I am pleased with this line would be an understatement, I am in love. If I would have blind study tested this I would not have believed this was not a high end luxury product, seriously the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Collection is just as good if not better than some high priced salon products I have used. I am one of those women who feels a little more confident when I know my hair looks good.
When I walked out of the house today I definitely strutted with a little more confidence and may have done more than one turn and flip hair move like I was on the runway. Bottom line, Dove knocked it out the park with this one, definitely a winner.
