5 Blogs I Love This Summer
Oh, summer! A time to relax a little bit more and enjoy making time for things that you may not always have time for.
Being a blogger, I absolutely enjoy sitting down with a good blog and getting inspired and learning about the writer. I enjoy well-thought-out and well-written posts. With that said, during the school year and the busier fall-winter months I don’t get to indulge in this as much. I have my regular reads that I try to keep up on because I find them a constant source of inspiration. A lot of my daily reads are my friends and I just like seeing what they are up to. My blogroll is pretty small, but every once in a while I stumble upon a new one I adore.
I thought in honor of one of my favorite summer pastimes, I’d share with you 5 blogs I love this summer. Some are big, some are small. Some are well-known, some are not. I’m pretty much addicted to reading every single one of their posts and I thought you might want to know them too incase you don’t already.

Claire is young, fun, and has some major design chops! She is located in Austin, Texas and I think she is definitely one to watch. Claire’s blog is fairly new to me this year, and I am so glad I found it. Her blog is full of home and style inspiration. She shares decorating tips on a regular basis. Her style is so on point and I always enjoy seeing shots of her home. Plus, she is a kind and lovely person to interact with which just makes me like her even more.

Oh, where do I begin with Swoon Worthy?! Seriously, Kimberly’s style is exactly that. She has this eclectic boho glamness that is so addictive. Kimberly is a UK-based design blogger and her home is full of her DIY projects, eccentric style, and amazing furniture! She shares regularly and every post is so good! Her writing style is witty, a bit offbeat (which I adore), and full of detail. Oh, and her projects– I seriously drool over everything she does. Kimberly has become a fast blogging friend and one of my first reads when I look at my blog roll. She is a MAJOR talent in the design world.

Angela’s blog The Painted House is like a little treat. This is a new to me blog that is a bit of a mystery to be honest. I don’t know much about Angela except to say she is an amazing designer. Her attention to detail is insanely good. She doesn’t post often, but when she does it is quite a treat! I don’t know much about her other than she has mad design skills and is very artistic. I follow her on Instagram @angenima because she posts more frequently there. I do know one thing though– I enjoy seeing her transform her home.

Brittany is a seasoned DIY/design blogger based in California. You probably already know how good her blog is, but just on the off-chance you don’t…I had to add her to my list. Since she has been making over her new home, I have been like a moth to a flame. Seriously, her design choices are *so *so good. You have got to follow along. I’ve always admired her from afar and I have gotten to know her a bit through blogging circles. She has had a lot going on…a marriage, a baby (who is adorable!), and a new home. I dig her writing style too that is a combination of humor, smarts, and a side of sarcasm. Her DIY skills put mine to shame. There I said it. She is a true talent and the proof is in the pudding. She recently caught the eye of Domino and is a regular style influencer and contributor to their online site.

This is a biggie. Pretty much an online magazine. Teams of writers, photographers, editors…but…it is a delight. Amazing home tours, new home decor products, behind the scenes of designers and bloggers, recipes, advice, and travel. Domaine has it all. I love my Domaine and you will too if you don’t already know about this fab online site. They post several times a day, but there is always something that stands out and grabs my interest.
Those are my 5 that I am pretty much addicted to this summer. Maybe you know them and maybe you don’t. You might find a couple new reads to get into this summer.
