Nothing is better than going on a bike ride with your best friend! Entering last week's Polyvore contest must have unlocked my creative potential. So when I found this seventies-style photo of two friends on a bike ride on Pinterest, I was inspired to come up with this vaguely nautical outfit set.

Because bikes are the dinghies of the land? Not sure how it fits thematically, but visually the crisp navy blue and white pair beautifully with coarser denim. Little touches of burnt orange and brown keep the whole look from being waterlogged. I picked out these high-waisted Acne skinny jeans because Kelly swears by them. As for me, I've been trying out a lot of bike denim lately, including the new Levi's Commuter line for women. Watch this space for my thoughts and feels!
