Hello Phyllis

A new cushion in the shop, both the web shop and at Exmouth Market. I've named it after Phyllis Baron, because she is a hero of mine. I made the pattern using lino blocks. Each element is printed by hand, which means that the alignment is a little off, which I find very satisfying: seeing it go subtly in and out of sync like a John Cage piece.

And on the back is just a dirty great circle. Nice.

I'm very pleased with it, I've kept one for my special cups of tea on studio days.

And here's the photo I texted to Jack when I first printed them. It's dead pretentious but I love getting up a stepladder at the studio to get a better look at things, somehow it just helps you to think better.
