BANANA + ALMOND SMOOTHIE


I share alot of photos of my smoothies and other meals on instagram and get asked alot of questions about what is in everything, so I have decided to start sharing some recipes here on the blog! Ive never really thought of myself as a foodie, or even someone who really knows there way around in the kitchen. But I do love experimenting, especially lately since I have been changing my eating habits.

So, Ive never been a measurer, so these are just guestimates below... So add these ingredients to taste for yourself if you try this.

BANANA ALMOND SMOOTHIE

1 cup almond milk

1 ripe banana

1-2 tbsps almond butter

1 tsp vitamineral green powder (or other green powder)

I tbsp maca powder

I tsp flax oil

agave nectar to taste if needed

3-4 ice cubes

optional: 1/2 tsp coconut oil

Blend together & enjoy!

There are many variations you could create for this smoothie depending on what you have on hand. Get creative!
