Considering Danielle just wrote a blog post for Urbanebloc thoroughly dissecting the pros and cons of disco butts, I thought I’d take the opportunity to share these photos of what I call my “uniform for a lazy day” – a pair of (you guessed it) disco pants and a tee. And, since Danielle and I are essentially the same person and she’s already written all about an outfit like this (find it here), I’m going to slack off a little and omit the outfit talk for today.

Instead, I’m going to talk about the glory that is Lisa Dengler. I’ve posted about her projects a few times before, but I always only showed her features of me in Just Another Fashion Magazine. Aside from being incredibly beautiful and stylish (she has a blog located here as well), Lisa is also super talented. I take a course in University where we learn how to make an interactive publication much like her fashion magazine, and let me tell you, it is some time-consuming and brain-melting stuff. The things iPad users often overlook – like slideshows, visually appealing negative spaces, legibility, font choice, etc (oops, is my nerdy graphic design childhood showing) – are the same things Lisa probably hunches over her laptop late at night perfecting. She’s done a lovely job adding me to the “Streetstyle” section for the current issue, and I can’t be more happy being a part of her work so many times! I can only hope that one day, when I’ve graduated, I’ll be just as hard-working, dedicated, and moreover as brilliant as Lisa.

Check out the streetstyle pages below, and make sure to subscribe to Just Another Fashion Magazine. Thanks, Lisa!
