Inspirations for the new seasons

Núria Diaz, Director of Design at women’secret, reveals all the secrets awaiting us this new season and that will be filling our on-line store. Are you ready?

1- Núria, what inspired you for the collections for this Spring/Summer?

Everything has been a source of inspiration, the fabric shows, the great catwalks of Los Angeles, Brazil, New York… and to a large extent people on the street.

Sailor stripes, spots, animal prints including tropical motifs, special colour gradations… lots of these trends came in last year to stay and are more fashionable today than ever.

2- What are the predominant colours for this new season?

This Spring, the colour range goes from extreme to extreme, from more pastel tones to the brightest fluorides, creating combinations and contrasts that will get people talking.

Coral shades and aquamarine, really acid lemons and oranges… will be in all our wardrobes.

3- Which is your favourite garment and which is going to be a sensation this season?

I’ve got two “fetish” garments that I think are going to be all the rage this Spring/Summer:

- The plain strapless swimsuit from the Shape Collection with a “V” neckline, perfect for showing off your figure on the beach in the most elegant way.

- And the strapless “push up” bra with heart-shaped neckline. It looks great on!
