City Inspiration

Somehow during Fashion Week a couple years ago when Fashion's Night Out still existed, I got invited to Elie Tahari's flagship store for a fancy shopping event in which I was too poor to afford anything and it was more of a time of observation. I spotted Elie Tahari and I sheepishly walked towards him and watched one of my blogger friends who was hosting the event chat with him nonchalantly. He was so cheerful and down to earth, I almost didn't believe it was him, thinking maybe it was someone who wandered in off the street like me. Anyways, I love his aesthetic and was ecstatic to work with Kohl's again to style a couple outfits of my choice from his collection with DesigNation. I stared at the online lookbook for a long time, trying to determine which pieces I wanted to mix and style and this was my first outfit I picked out. I love a tee, a pair of jogger pants and the shape of this cardigan, so it was a no brainer to pair these pieces together for a low key outfit. It's a little too casual for work in the office, but not a day for working from home! My next plan is to pair the tee and pants with a leather jacket and my Nike sneakers.
